My husband and I stayed at Casa Tranquila and LOVED it. We had a wonderful time. The condo was very clean, the beds where comfortable, we had a great ocean and pool view. Plus the location is perfect. Only a few minutes drive to downtown Puerto Vallarta. Also, the property manager Jeff was extremely helpful and was readily available to answer any questions we had on Puerto Vallarta and the Condo.
My husband and I had so much fun that we are now planning our second trip and plan to stay at Casa Tranquila again. We can’t wait to go back.
Travelers tip:
Make sure you check out Pipi's restaurant - great food with a fun atmosphere.
Take a walk along the board walk and checkout Burros on the beach.
Bring lots of singles for tips.
Make sure you take an earlier afternoon trip to Los Veranos and try the Zip lines it’s fantastic.
Lastly, Ladies make sure you bring a pair of flats to wear downtown the side walks are made of cobblestone
It was my family's first trip to Mexico, & even though we researched and received a lot of advice, we had no idea that it would be so GREAT. PV is fantastic, the condo was open & beautiful & comfortable, the staff was super friendly, & the pool & beach were amazing. We had excellent food... Daiquiri Dicks, La Distileria, & La Charta. We had great adventures... Los Veranos zipline, PV Adventures dolphin swim, Tuna fishing with puertovallartafish.com, and shopping in town. BUT, we had the best time hanging around the beach & pool, playing basketball & volleyball, & just enjoying our family. Lastly, we took cabs & city buses, and tromped all over town, & always felt welcome & more importantly safe. We will be back.
We had a wonderful stay. The beach was clean and beautiful. We had our toddler with us and found the resort an easy place to entertain him. The food was also good, we may consider the all inclusive available from the resort next time. The condo was clean and had a great view. We bought groceries and ate many meals on the balcony. We are considering a vacation again there soon with a few other families.
We go to PV every year. We have stayed at Casa Zimmer #840 for 5 years and absolutely love it. The view from our deck is amazing. We have watched whales and dolphins while we are sitting on our deck. We have found wonderful food - for ribs I would recommend El Torito, Dacquiri Dick's is wonderful, Cheeky Monkey is good food and cerveza's. Burros Bar is great and a trip to Las Caletas is fun and relaxing.
We booked a last minute vacation with Jeff and it couldn't have been easier! He was prompt in returning my email and we left for our great stay in PV 1 week later. The hotel was clean, and his local representation checked on us weekly to ensure our stay was satisfactory. We had a small miscommunication the day of checkin' but all was taken care of promptly and without concern, (this has not been our experience at other resorts in PV)and our damage deposit was returned to us in a timely fashion.
I would highly recommend booking through Jeff whether it's your 1st or 21st time to PV, our experience was great and worry free!
My husband I and just spent 5 weeks in Condo 1141 (4/8 - 5/13/2010) and were totally pleased with the experience. This was my first experience with booking through a vacation rental and I was a bit nervous. However, the pictures on the website and description of the condo were totally accurate to the condo, so often you don't get a true picture but this was right on and even more than anticipated was in the condo to make your stay comfortable. The view from 1141 is incredible, total panoramic of the pool area/grounds, the Bay of Banderas and total skyline of PV. The staff at the Holiday Inn are fantastic - friendly and helpful when needed. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the beach area is prestine. Our one small problem was the safe lock did not work upon check-in but within 30 minutes someone was there to replace the lock. Fast and efficient service. Cleanings were done as scheduled and well done. We have absolutely no complaints and working with Jeff Connors was a delight. We look forward to our next extended stay in Puerto Vallarta and in Condo 1141. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and for portraying the condo just like it is.
Amazing, everything was perfect! We have stayed in this place 2 times. My son and I loved it so much we even stayed 5 days longer! The place was clean and everyone at the hotel was really nice! Anything you think you might need, well this place has it! Just pack your bags and go! Thank you again for such an amazing place and we look forward to staying here again in a few months! Wanted to add that we have a timeshare and we would rather stay here because it was great for kids! :)
The best part about PV is it's Safe! Also the Pirate day trip for the Kids is the best! Nightlife is great even with Family! Hard Rock PV Rocks! And yes, you can eat Tacos downtown! The people in PV are always so sweet! We go to PV 2 times a year! You must go because you for sure will want to go again!

We had an absolutely great time at this resort property. It was the best of both worlds - we stayed in a fabulous resort right on the beach (with an awesome pool and swim up bar too!) but, we didn't choose to go with the hotel's all-inclusive plan, as we were staying at a condo with a kitchen. We had the option to eat and cook in our condo, and also able to go out and explore all of the wonderful restaurants in the area. We got lots of recommendations - and found some others on our own. But, that's the best part - being able to explore, without feeling guilty that you've already paid for an all-inclusive buffet for every meal. All of the hotel amenities were still available to us, and the staff treated us like royalty:) Great location - halfway between downtown old Puerto Vallarta, and the marina in the other direction. We had an unbelievable experience with whale watching, a crazy dune buggy road trip -extremely dirty - if you want to try it, bring old clothes, and expect to eat dust! - I personally wouldn't choose that again ;( But - do the evening excursion out to the island for the dinner and show - very nice! So - for a clean condo at a reasonable price in a great location - this is it. I definitely hope to return some day!!
Our family and several friends stayed in Casa Zimmer 840 and Casa Vista 1141. It was our second trip to Puerto Vallarta. The first time we booked through a travel agent and stayed in a hotel. When I booked the condos through Jeff I have to say I was a little nervous about the process, never having used a private website/owner before. But it was so easy! Jeff had everything ready for our arrival, the hotel staff was ready for us, check in/check out was very smooth, and we received our security deposit very soon after we returned home. I highly recommend booking a stay in Puerto Vallarta through Jeff!
The condos are absolutely lovely and very comfortable. The view from the balconies is fantastic and the sliding glass doors to the balconies open fully so that you feel that you are part of the outdoors even in the condo. The kitchens are well stocked with everything you need. We chose to cook some meals in and dine out for others and did not use the all inclusive option at the resort. The bathrooms are huge and the beds are very comfortable.
The Sea River Tower/Holiday Inn is nicely situated. There are two grocery stores nearby. It is a quick trip to the airport and a short taxi or bus ride to downtown. The marina, jumping off point for any water tour, is within walking distance. The pool and beach are great. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a great sushi resaurant, Kinsao, in the Peninsula shopping center within walking distance.
We spent our days on the beach and hanging around the pool. Most evenings we went downtown to stroll on the Malecon, eat dinner and enjoy the nightlife. We can't wait to go back to Puerto Vallarta!!
Once again PVR was the destination I couldnt wait to get to! The condo was warm and inviting. The bonus of having a kitchette is beyond words. The grocery store is a walk away. You are able to sit on the balacony and watch the magificient sunsets- and see where the best spot you can find next to the pool. It is a home away from home!
I've been going to Puerto Vallarta for 15 years for 3 months at a time, this was the

This was our 2nd time renting from Jeff and we had a wonderful time. Puerto Vallarta is our favorite destination in Mexico. It is clean, safe, and the people and food are terrific. The condo is in an excellent area with plenty of beach to walk each day. Our family enjoys taking part in all the activities offered by the Holiday Inn like Volley ball, trivia contests, dance lessons, exercise classes, etc. The condo is perfect for a family and it offers all the amenities that you need. We cooked breakfast each morning and then ventured out for lunch and dinner. Some of our best lunches were from the vendors stands on the beach just to the right of the condo. We ate freshly cooked shrimp, and whatever fish was recently caught. (yes, its safe to eat the food.) I would highly recommend this condo - it is a much better value than an ordinary hotel.
Me and a group of friends always visit PV for our summer vacations since its a very relaxed and easy going town that has all you need: shopping, dining, beach, etc. We always stayed at hotels but they have become more expensive and when you start doing your 3 meals at restaurants, your budget increases a lot!
I found about this property at Flip Key, the prices were great and I said, why not? so I inquired and Jeff immediately gave me all the information on how to proceed, requirements and so on. He pays great attention to your questions.
Casa Tranquila #932 is the most amazing place we have ever stayed at while in Vallarta, it has everything you need to make you feel at home! A good sized fridge, fully functional and stocked kitchenette that had very useful appliances like microwave, toaster oven, toaster (yes both toaster things!), coffeemaker, blender, full pantry, etc. It was a nice touch that we found it stocked with not only dishes but also dishwasher liquid, wine cups, an assortment of dishes, glasses, knives, pots, pans, etc, there is absolutely no need to buy anything for your stay since the kitchen has everything you need and more.
The bathroom also was of a great size, fully furnished with toilet paper, clean towels, hand soap, etc. The closet has a small safe box for your use in case you have some valuables you need to protect while in there.
Something totally unexpected and unadvertised was the fact that the condo had a Wifi Modem/Router so we had complete internet access with zero connection problems and no expensive hotel fees, just enter the wep key located at the back of the modem and you are connected, amazing!! Cable TV has a great selection of channels in case you want to lie down in bed at night.
Of course, the beach view from the Condo is absolutely amazing and so relaxing! Having your breakfast, meal or dinner at the balcony watching the beach is so amazing you will have a hard time adjusting back to your regular lifestyle at home.
In fact, writing this testimonial is kind of a torture for me, I am so nostalgic about PVR and how great Casa Tranquila was, it has a great layout and design to allow 4 people to relax and socialize. You can bet I really want to go back there!! Rent this unit, you will really love it!!

Casa Maria-Torre is a great condo. It is charming, spacious, perfectly situated on the 3rd floor overlooking the beach. Everyone was friendly and everything went extremely smoothly. The rental agent, Jeff Connors, was very helpful and saw to it that we were picked up at the airport and had all the information we needed to get around.
The condo is very nice, comfortable and clean. It has a balcony with the view of the ocean. The location of the condo was very convenient since it was close to downtown and marina. We really enjoyed staying in this condo and the Holiday Inn's service was good. There was a kitchen that we sometimes used for preparing lunch or dinner. All in all, it was a nice place to stay in.
We absolutely LOVED the Casa Tranquila! The decor was fabulous, the views were amazing, and we had the pleasant surprise of complimentary ice-cold Coronas waiting for us in the refrigerator when we arrived!
This unit was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated with spectacular view

We had a great trip to Puerto Vallarta, and stayed at condo #1141 in the Holiday Inn complex. The location was perfect and the beach was incredible. We enjoyed the sunrises and afternoon cocktails on the balcony which overlooked the pool and beachs. We happened to arrive on New Years Eve, which gave us a wonderful fireworks display at midnight. It was a great way to begin our trip.
Had this one bedroom condo from 1-12-11-to 1-19-11. It was wonderful, well decorated, comfortable, and as advertised. The Holiday Inn facilities, pool, beach,and people were great, the bay view was wonderful from the balcony. Puerto Vallarta is a wonderful city, people are friendly, and has great resturants, and excellent weather. In all a wonderful vacation week.
We enjoyed our stay in the condo. We ate breakfast and lunch there most days as well as a few dinners. The kitchen was well supplied. The large fridge meant we could stock up on vegetables and beer.
It was a good place to spend a relaxing time.
Our Condo was clean and everything Jeff said it would be was accurate. The bonus, being able to use the Holiday Inn Facilities. We had bakery and coffee on the balcony each morning. We have been to PV over a dozen times and prefer a nice Condo to most hotels.
This is a very comfortable and well decorated unit with a gorgeous view. The swimming pool and beach is very nice and a lot of fun. The activities staff go out of their way to provide interesting and fun events. The location is a short taxi ride (or bus) to the Malecon and the old town part of Puerto Vallarta.
We stayed in Casa Vista 1141 the end of January. Check in was very easy. Do remind them of the 15% off card. The condo was great. The view was spectacular. We saw many whales. One morning a small group of Kayaks were out in the bay and I could see Dolphins swimming in amongst the boats!!! The location of the condo is perfect for beach walks, quick cab ride to town and a convenient local bus stop a short walk out to the main road from the hotel. The staff was very nice at the Holiday Inn. Get out to the pool early if you want your favorite spot since chairs start filling up by 7 am! We discovered a great Mexican Restaurant called Mama Rosas. Take a cab. It is up the hill about 2 blocks from the Malecon. Suggest reservations. Great sea food or authentic Mexican.
Stayed in this unit in February 2011. Everything about the unit was great. The location was great too. Ended up being a very short walk to the beach made possible by stairs rather than taking the road all the way around. The unit was very clean and the decor was beautiful. Having filtered water and laundry in the unit was a huge plus. Wi-fi internet access. The place has pretty much everything one would need for a great vacation. 3 large rooms and 3 bathrooms made it very convenient. Would definitely recommend the place to others.
