Calendar of events in PV through the end of 2010

Puerto Vallarta has several exciting events coming up through the end of 2010.  So if you are interested in Art, Golf, Fishing, Food, or Film - there is an event for you!!   

October 27 - May 25, 2011 - PUERTO VALLARTA ART WALK
Visitors should not miss the opportunity to walk on foot every Wednesday afternoon to the main art galleries, which are located in downtown Puerto Vallarta. More info http://www.selectvr.com/content/camino-del-arte-art-walk-historic-center

November 07 - PUERTO VALLARTA INTERNATIONAL 2010 HALF MARATHON
1,600 runners from Mexico, United States, Canada and Kenya will be meeting with more than 15,000 spectators.  This will be the eighth edition of the PV International Half Marathon.

November 14 - VALLARTA GOLF CUP PRO AM 2010

On its ninth edition, this important golfing event will take place on the Marina Vallarta and Vista Vallarta golf courses, both par 72. These courses have hosted  PGA, Senior PGA and Juniors international tournaments.

November 11-21 - XVI Puerto Vallarta International Gourmet Festival
Puerto Vallarta will host the International Gourmet Festival for the 16th year in a row. Chefs from leading hotels and restaurants in the beach destination will host the event. The 2010 Gourmet Festival will feature a grand gala with dishes from the five continents, four routes for progressive dinners around the Bay with gourmet safaris, plus chocolate and wine pairing with typical Mexican beverages.

November 10-13 - INTERNATIONAL SAILFISH & MARLIN TOURNAMENT
Organized by the Fishing Club of Puerto Vallarta this tournament will award in excess of $200,000 to be divided into Sailfish, Marlin, Tuna and Dorado categories, as well as the Fishing One Sailfish.

December 1-5 - PUERTO VALLARTA FILM FESTIVAL 2010
For the seventh consecutive year, the destination will celebrate the Puerto Vallarta Film Festival. Over the years the festival has received more than a hundred artists from Hollywood and Mexico.
